Welcome to friendlyworkplace.com. These Terms and Conditions explain how our website may be used, how we handle enquiries and editorial submissions, and where to find the separate rules governing participation in the Friendly Workplace programme.
These Terms concern use of this website. They do not replace the programme prospectus, the employer assessment criteria or any separately agreed participation terms.
1. Website operator and contact details
The website friendlyworkplace.com (the “Website”) is operated by Brand Position, ul. St. Augusta 6 lok. 20, 03-847 Warsaw, Poland (the “Operator”, “we” or “us”). Friendly Workplace is an editorial award programme established by MarkaPracodawcy.pl.
For questions concerning the Website, its content or these Terms, contact info@friendlyworkplace.com. You can also use our Contact Us page.
2. Scope of the Website and online services
The Website provides information about the Friendly Workplace programme, its assessment approach, recognised employers and their workplace practices. It also features editorial articles and enables visitors to contact our team, request programme information, recommend an employer and subscribe to our newsletter.
Browsing publicly available content is free of charge and does not require creating an account. A request for a programme prospectus, an employer recommendation or an editorial submission does not, by itself, create an obligation to participate in the programme or pay a fee.
The online services available through the Website begin when you access or use the relevant feature. Browsing ends when you leave the Website; an enquiry is handled through the associated correspondence; and a newsletter subscription continues until you unsubscribe. Any separate commercial or programme relationship is governed by the terms expressly agreed for that relationship.
3. Technical requirements and acceptable use
To use the Website, you need an internet connection and a reasonably up-to-date browser. Some features, including forms and interactive elements, require JavaScript and appropriate browser settings. Optional cookies and analytics are governed by your choices described in our Cookie Policy.
Please use the Website lawfully and responsibly. Do not submit unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, misleading or infringing material; impersonate another person; interfere with the Website’s security or availability; introduce malicious code; or attempt unauthorised access to data or systems.
We may take reasonable measures to protect the Website and its users, including restricting malicious activity or removing unlawful submissions, in accordance with applicable law.
4. The Friendly Workplace programme
Friendly Workplace recognises employers through an editorial assessment of workplace practices described in their submissions. The programme considers five areas: employee relationships, employee development, work–life balance, a healthy workplace, and employee benefits.
The Website provides an overview of the programme. Eligibility, the assessment process, participation fees, award deliverables, deadlines and other binding participation conditions are communicated in the relevant programme materials and any separately agreed terms. Please see Award Criteria & Process and request the current programme prospectus for full details.
Submitting an enquiry or questionnaire does not guarantee recognition, publication of a profile or receipt of an award. Editorial decisions are made through the programme’s assessment process.
5. Employer profiles and editorial information
The Website presents profiles of recognised employers and articles describing workplace initiatives. Such information may include material supplied by employers and statements attributed to their representatives. Our editorial team reviews material for publication, but the information presented should not be understood as a guarantee of any employer’s current practices, working conditions, job opportunities or future performance.
Descriptions may reflect the time of submission or publication. Employers’ practices and circumstances can change. Visitors should verify information relevant to their own decisions directly with the employer or another appropriate source.
We may correct, update, contextualise or withdraw published material where justified by editorial standards, reliable new information, legal requirements or the rights of the people concerned.
6. Submitting workplace stories and other materials
Recognised Friendly Workplace employers may send initiatives, articles, statements, photographs and other materials to our editorial team for consideration in News & Insights. Submissions are reviewed individually. Sending material does not guarantee its publication.
The person or organisation submitting material should ensure that it is accurate to the best of their knowledge, that they are entitled to share it, and that appropriate permissions exist for copyrighted works, logos, photographs and identifiable individuals. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information about employees or other people.
The editorial team may propose changes for clarity, length, accuracy and consistency with our editorial standards. Where needed, we will request confirmation of publication rights and the intended form of use before publishing material. Unless separately agreed, submitting material does not transfer copyright ownership to the Operator.
To submit or discuss a story, contact info@friendlyworkplace.com.
7. Employer recommendations
Visitors may recommend an organisation for consideration through the employer recommendation feature. A recommendation is not a formal application for the award and does not guarantee that the employer will be contacted or recognised.
Please provide information you are entitled to share and avoid disclosing sensitive personal details. Our approach to handling recommendations, including the circumstances in which a recommender’s identity may be disclosed, is described in our Privacy Policy and on the For Candidates & Employees page.
8. Enquiries, prospectus requests and newsletter
When you contact us or request information, we use the details you provide to respond and manage the enquiry, as described in our Privacy Policy. Requesting a prospectus does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.
Subscription to Friendly Workplace Insights is optional and uses an email confirmation process. Subscribers may unsubscribe through the link included in the newsletter or by contacting us. Newsletter data and consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual property and use of our materials
Unless otherwise indicated, editorial texts, website design elements and other original materials made available on this Website are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Company names, logos, photographs, quotations and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective rights holders.
You may read and link to publicly available pages and use short excerpts where permitted by law, with appropriate attribution. Reproducing complete articles, photographs, award artwork or substantial parts of the Website for commercial use requires prior authorisation unless otherwise permitted by law.
The Friendly Workplace name, award marks, certificates and related visual identity may be used by organisations only within the scope of the rights expressly granted to them. Being mentioned on this Website does not itself grant permission to use the award mark.
10. Third-party links and services
The Website may link to employers’ websites, careers pages, social networks and third-party services. Those services are operated independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies. A link does not, by itself, constitute an endorsement of all content or services provided by the linked website.
11. Website availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the Website accurate, accessible and secure. However, content and technical features may be updated, interrupted or temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, security measures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Information on the Website is provided for general informational and editorial purposes. It does not constitute an employment offer, legal advice or a guarantee of recognition. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or user rights where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.
12. Questions, complaints and correction requests
Questions about the operation of the Website, complaints concerning an online feature, and requests to correct or review published information can be sent to info@friendlyworkplace.com.
Please include your contact details, a description of the issue and, where relevant, the URL of the page concerned. We will review the matter and respond within a reasonable time, taking account of its nature and applicable legal requirements. Requests concerning personal data are handled under the procedures described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Privacy and cookies
The processing of personal data, including information provided through forms, newsletter subscriptions, employer recommendations and editorial submissions, is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Information about cookies, analytics and available choices can be found in our Cookie Policy.
14. Changes to these Terms and applicable law
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Website, our services or applicable requirements. The latest version will be made available on this page with its revision date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
These Terms are governed by Polish law to the extent applicable. This does not restrict any mandatory rights or protections that visitors may have under the laws that apply to them.
For clarity, these Terms govern use of friendlyworkplace.com. They do not replace the separate participation terms, prospectus, employer questionnaire or editorial assessment rules of the Friendly Workplace programme.
